Summary

We are seeking a Host/Server to join our dynamic team at Santa Lucia Pizza in 905 Co5 Corydon. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests, contributing to our mission of providing delicious homemade meals in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Take orders accurately and efficiently using our own POS system Take pick up/Delivery orders over the phone Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs. Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery to tables. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
