We are currently looking for a server/dishwasher to join our Front of House & Back of House teams.

Shifts will be scheduled between 3:30pm and 8:30pm and will be mostly 4 to 4 & 1/2 hours. Candidates must be available on weekends, weekdays, and public holidays. This is not a seasonal position, we are open 7 days a week. Average work week will be between 20 and 25 hours. Shifts may vary at times due to events, staff absences, and vacation schedules.

Duties:

Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide excellent customer services Present daily menus, take and serve food & drinks orders Arrange table settings Operate a Point-of-Sale system Help maintain a clean, organized & friendly environment Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines Follow food safety guidelines when handling and packaging food items Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed Work with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using a commercial dishwasher or by hand. Be able to follow the three sink system. Place clean dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, etc. in designated storage areas Assist with end of shift floor cleaning & trash removal Assist Back of House staff and Front of House with various tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality setting is an asset but not necessary. We will provide on job training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

- Smart serve certificate &/or food handlers certificate an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
