Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Assist in food presentation and garnishing to enhance visual appeal Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices, adhering to all food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth restaurant operations Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages

Skills

Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting preferred Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards Strong understanding of the food industry, including kitchen operations and food safety protocols Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
