Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food and cash transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle cash transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, processing payments accurately. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow during peak hours. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system is a plus. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.80-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
