We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our vibrant team at J-Don!

In this role, you'll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, providing outstanding customer service while efficiently handling orders and transactions. You'll be working weekdays from 11:30 AM to approximately 2:00-2:30 PM, making this a great opportunity for someone seeking part-time daytime hours.

The ideal candidate is confident, friendly, and naturally skilled in sales and upselling. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.

This role also includes light kitchen support, so a team-focused mindset and a willingness to help wherever needed are key.

Duties

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured. Process transactions using the cash register, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and cashier station. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Utilize Skip The Dishes/DoorDash apps for order processing and inventory management as needed.

Requirements

Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.
