Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a welcoming dining experience, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Micros POS system. Prepare food items as needed while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to uphold sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly. Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques and restaurant policies.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and teamwork. Experience in upselling products is a plus, along with a proactive approach to meeting customer needs.
