Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food , handling transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will be crucial in maintaining a smooth operation during busy periods.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Process transactions using the POS system, including Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during peak hours. Basic math skills Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, along with any kitchen experience that enhances your ability to assist with food preparation.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.50 per hour
