Overview

We are seeking a mature, motivated and friendly Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food service and cashiering tasks. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials to assist customers in making informed choices. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in processing payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and handling. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Cashiering experience with an understanding of basic financial transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively. A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help others as needed.
