We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and capable of multitasking effectively to meet the needs of our customers and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining tables, counters, and kitchen stations. Support the kitchen team during busy hours Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring timely service delivery. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality.

Skills

Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems as well as Uber and Skip the Dishes Apps. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations for bills or change. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to serve customers promptly during busy hours. Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not mandatory. Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
