Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role involves both serving customers and handling transactions, ensuring a seamless experience from the kitchen to the table.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in both the dining area and kitchen. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations throughout all food handling processes.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience with cashiering duties, including operating POS systems, is highly desirable.
