Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted. Process payments using a Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards. Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
