Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and resolving issues promptly Support kitchen staff with basic kitchen experience when needed

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
