We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers in providing excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and meet quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address any guest needs. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment. Support overall restaurant operations as needed, including assisting with stocking supplies and cleaning tasks.

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus, along with general kitchen experience. A commitment to cleanliness and organization within the dining area and kitchen spaces.
