Job Title: Server / BartenderJob Summary
The Server/Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking food and beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have a positive dining and bar experience. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and knowledge of food and beverage service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standards
Serve food promptly and ensure order accuracy
Maintain cleanliness of bar area, tables, and service stations
Handle cash, POS transactions, and process payments correctly
Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age
Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
Restock bar supplies and notify management of inventory needs
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Resolve customer concerns politely and efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
Previous serving or bartending experience preferred
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic food items
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
Smart Serve / Serving It Right (or provincial equivalent) certification required or willing to obtain
Working Conditions
Standing and walking for extended periods
Lifting trays, glassware, and supplies
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
