The Jack O Clubs Pub, established in 2016, serves as the culinary and entertainment heart of the community. Known for its great food, unique drinks and fantastic service, you will be confident in knowing the work you do is appreciated by a grateful community.

We are currently expanding operations due to increased demand, and we would like to round out our already stellar crew. Come work with a dedicated and inspired team as we take the pub to new levels in culinary creativity, innovative drink offerings, and one-of-a-kind service, as well as entertaining special events.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a related role in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous. A background in hospitality is beneficial, showcasing an understanding of guest needs and expectations.
