Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and drink service environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests, craft quality drinks, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Candidates should possess excellent time management skills, food safety awareness, and proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required for highly motivated individuals eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and recipes Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring an exceptional customer experience Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods using strong time management skills Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages Follow all food handling procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse guests Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining compliance with legal requirements Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere
