Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to uphold food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and manage any special requests or dietary restrictions. Assist in training new team members on restaurant policies and procedures when necessary. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and team members effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$21.25 per hour
