Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties. Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements. Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management skills. Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed when applicable. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly personality with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
