Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and experienced

Bartender

to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves mixing drinks, serving customers, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment in accordance with food safety standards. Previous experience in restaurant or food service settings is highly preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy Restock supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety Follow all health regulations related to food safety and alcohol service Assist in setting up events or special promotions as required

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles Familiarity POS systems is advantageous Strong knowledge of drink recipes, food safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing Experience with food handling and safety standards within the hospitality industry
