Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating memorable experiences for our patrons. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS, and handle cash transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or requests. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Uphold a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Cash handling experience is essential for managing payments efficiently. Pay: $17.60 per hour
