Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing the restaurant operations. This role involves serving customers quickly and efficiently, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food and beverage service. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management skills, food safety knowledge, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

Serve customers in a quick and efficient way, offering them good quality service. Ensuring food goes out to the tables in a timely manner and presented properly. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their overall experience Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, chairs, tables, etc in compliance with food safety standards Ability to pour alcoholic drinks and serve properly Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and adhere to legal drinking age regulations Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and uphold the establishment's hospitality standards

Experience

Previous experience working as a food service role is preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately Experience in the food industry or food service environment is advantageous Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail in serving beverages and managing transactions Demonstrated understanding of food safety practices related to beverage preparation and sanitation standards Smart Serve Certificate a requirement
