Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders and payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations at all times Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Assist in setting up for events or special functions as required Follow all food industry standards to promote a safe and enjoyable environment

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in bartending roles Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and measurement adjustments Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances the guest experience Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within the hospitality industry
