Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously through effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours. Assist with food service when needed, including serving appetizers or snacks to complement beverages. Support catering events, banquets, or private parties by providing exceptional beverage service tailored to event needs. Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations to promote safety. Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and alcohol inventory. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts in nightclub or restaurant settings. Handle cashiering duties accurately using POS systems while managing cash transactions securely. Follow all food handling procedures and food safety guidelines diligently to maintain high standards of hygiene.

Skills

Proven experience as a bartender in various settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing processes, and beverage presentation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods confidently without compromising quality or safety. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and quick calculations for drink mixing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations. Experience in serving at large events such as banquets or catering functions is highly desirable. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
