Position Summary

We are seeking a professional and energetic Server/Bartender to join our team. This dual-role is central to our mission of providing an extraordinary guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and presentation. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for new and returning guests, upholding all 'Smart Serve' policies and food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service & Sales:

Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests, fostering connections to build regular clientele. Accurately enter guest orders into the POS system. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including all food and beverage offerings, to provide recommendations. Manage guest inquiries, answer phones promptly (within 2-3 rings), and follow proper take-out procedures.

Bartending & Alcohol Service:

Promptly and accurately prepare all beverage orders for guests and service staff. Prepare and maintain the bar for service (e.g., mixes, garnishes, glassware, supplies). Strictly adhere to 'Smart Serve' guidelines, monitor guest consumption, and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times. Manage bar inventory, record daily beer counts, and change kegs as required.

Operations & Teamwork:

Ensure adherence to all St. Louis Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized service area and bar at all times. Complete all duties as per the server cleaning checklist. Collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow. Assist with creating an energetic restaurant atmosphere (e.g., managing lights, music, TVs). Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a server and/or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Valid 'Smart Serve' certification is mandatory.

Must be 18 years of age or older. A positive, dynamic, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for hospitality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A team-oriented mindset and a professional demeanor.

Pay: Up to $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
