We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in mixology and knowledge of food safety will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards. wages $15.50/hour + Tip.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS for processing transactions Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and food handling regulations

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is an asset but if not then we are ready to train Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential A background in hospitality or food service will be beneficial
