Overview
We are seeking a skilled server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food and beverage service. As a server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
• Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for customers.
• Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in bartending and/or food service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing payments accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
• Must have completed Serving It Right course (required).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.92-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
