Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/ Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service practices. Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner Take accurate food and drink orders Make and serve coffee, cocktails, and other beverages Handle payments and operate the POS system Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and bar Restock supplies and assist with opening duties Communicate effectively with kitchen and team members Provide an excellent guest experience from start to finish

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to the food industry. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Proficient in bartending techniques, including drink preparation and presentation. Familiarity with basic math for handling cash transactions accurately. Experience in cashiering within a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$23.85 per hour
