Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in HEAVEN SUSHI SAKE BAR. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, valued, and satisfied throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Take accurate orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with attention to detail. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality. Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is beneficial. 1-year experience in similar position General math knowledge Serving it Right certification Has a full knowledge of all food and beverage items produced and sold from HEAVEN SUSHI SAKE BAR Ensures presentation of all food meets and exceeds HEAVEN's standards for freshness, appearance and consistency when running food Balance all cash and charges at the end of every shift and complete cash drops with supervisor in accordance to HEAVEN's protocol Protects the establishment by adhering to strict policies on serving alcohol Must be committed to maintaining high customer service standards On time for all shifts ready to work at scheduled times
