Overview

As we prepare to open for the upcoming race season at Georgian Downs Race Track we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system. Deliver food and drinks promptly to ensure optimal guest satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Process payments accurately through cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Utilize effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering functions is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
