Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the POS system efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders and maintain effective communication during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service, including checking identification for age verification. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience.
