Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in customer service, particularly within fine dining or nightclub environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Operate Aloha POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions. Stay informed about current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance the guest experience.

Skills

Proficiency in Aloha POS and CLOVER systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent sales abilities to promote beverages and upsell menu items effectively. Previous fine dining, nightclub, or food service experience is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Must be SMARTSERVE certified

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
