Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/server to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Uphold a positive atmosphere by maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and serving others is crucial for success in this role.
