Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils. Take orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Monitor customer behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.

Skills

Proficient in using POS systems, for efficient order processing. Previous restaurant experience is required, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Exceptional customer service abilities, ensuring guests feel valued and attended to. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality that enhances the guest experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
