Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our lively hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred to ensure smooth service delivery.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change. Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations. Follow food handling procedures when preparing garnishes or light snacks if applicable. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs accurately. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements. Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are essential for creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
