Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Bartender will play a key role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience while maintaining food safety standards and proper cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while ensuring quality control Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve guests promptly during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality background is a plus, along with experience in serving or cashiering roles Must be personable, adaptable, and committed to providing outstanding guest experiences
