We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Bartender

to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are highly preferred. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to an enjoyable guest experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Assist in setting up the bar for service and closing procedures at shift end

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred Familiarity with Micros POS or similar POS systems is highly advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements Strong communication skills and a personable attitude Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
