Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in the food industry. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Engage with guests in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Manage cash handling, including processing payments accurately through Micros POS or similar systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service Handle serving duties efficiently, including taking orders, serving drinks, and managing multiple tables or bar stations

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor suitable for hospitality settings
