Located in scenic Ben Eoin, Nova Scotia our beautiful resort offers lush accommodations surrounded by four seasons of activity. World-class golf, sailing, skiing, beaches and hiking are all at your fingertips when you stay at the Lakes at Ben Eoin Golf Club & Resort.

The server will attend to guest needs while providing excellent food & beverage services professionally and pleasantly in but not limited to the Founders, main restaurant, and the Founders Event Space. To work under the direct supervision of the Front of House Manager.

Demonstrate effective communication skills with both co-workers & guests Maintaining a clean & safe working environment Adhering properly to grooming/uniform policies Willingness & ability to adapt and adjust Capable of working all mornings, evenings & weekends Demonstrate knowledge of all food and drink menus, including wine and mixed cocktails Demonstrate effective upselling and suggestive techniques Accurately processing cash & card transactions Point of sale proficiency - Lightspeed POS Demonstrate proper wine service at the table Cash balancing & deposits Completion of daily checklists Accurately opening & closing of Founders Preparation & closing of Event Space Proper completion of daily Inventory Monitoring & adjusting of sound and lighting levels Cleaning & setting of tables Seating & serving of guests Preparing of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests Completion of timesheets for bi-weekly payroll Preparation/moving of tables for reservations Effectively polishing of cutlery & glasses Proper folding of linens Stocking of dry goods including but not limited to: coasters, straws, sugar, sweetener, salt, pepper, takeout packaging

Requirements:

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Capable of handling customer complaints effectively Ability to carry up to 30lbs Ability to carry 3 plates
