Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while serving drinks and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries promptly. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change. Uphold hospitality standards by creating a friendly and inviting environment for guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with patrons. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role. Pay: $17.85-$21.85 per hour
