Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, ringing in food, serving food and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Duties

Serve and care for guests with menu knowlwdge and professionalism. Ring in food and appetizers, along with making sure you are making them feel completely welcome in our space. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service to enhance their dining experience. Process transactions accurately using POS systems while managing cash and debit machines, along with your own float. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and serving practices. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Must be able to work in a high stress, loud and very high volume environment.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is a

MUST

particularly in a bartending and food service role. Strong understanding of basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction is top prioriy. Familiarity with POS systems Touch Bistro or Square is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities. Must be a huge Team player. Must have an up to date Smart Serve certificate. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
