Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Assist with banquet events, catering services, and special functions as needed.

Skills

Proficiency in operating POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment. Excellent sales abilities to promote drink specials and upsell menu items. Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in the food industry, including bartending, serving, or other food service roles. Familiarity with brewing techniques is an advantage for craft beer selections.
