Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Manage the POS system efficiently, processing orders and payments accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders. Uphold a friendly and hospitable environment that encourages repeat business.

Skills

Proven experience in the restaurant or food industry, preferably in a bartending role. Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create a positive experience for guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
