Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency, and a passion for hospitality to enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing attentive customer service throughout their visit Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professionalism Ability to handle food safely and adhere to food safety regulations Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling purposes Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Familiarity with food industry standards, sanitation practices, and guest services Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
