Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systemsare highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations related to food handling and service

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and basic math proficiency for order accuracy and cash handling Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Basic kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience
