Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possess strong skills in food and beverage service. This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a team setting while ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and serving guests promptly and courteously. Take food and drink orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, while adhering to all food safety and handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout service. Process payments efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Assist with banquet service and catering events as needed, ensuring high standards of presentation and service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively upsell items to guests. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Experience in catering or banquet service is an advantage. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
