Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately, utilizing basic math skills for calculations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables and ensure prompt service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong guest services and customer service skills are essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively.
