Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, demonstrating excellent customer service skills while efficiently managing their time in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system (Micros POS preferred). Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest experiences is highly valued.
