We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with health regulations
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
Experience with food safety protocols and food handling procedures
Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; previous restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory
