We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food industry environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety standards and promoting menu items through effective upselling techniques.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness at the table. Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining areas to uphold food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic math skills. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy shifts. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
