Duties
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen staff.
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity.
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
Collaborate with team members including hosts/hostesses and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy nights or special events.
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings.
Strong knowledge of POS systems for order processing and reservations management.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Ability to upsell menu items effectively while respecting guest preferences.
Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and quick calculations.
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus for better understanding of menu offerings.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event nights in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting.
